As a reminder, for all of those that do not escrow your property taxes, be sure to pay your spring tax bill by Thursday, May 10th.   If not, you will be assessed an immediate 10% penalty!  

Also, if you recently purchased your home or you refinanced recently, be sure to file your Mortgage and Homestead (if its your primary residence) Exemptions.  

When paying my spring tax bill, I personally went to the Hamilton County courthouse so that I have a receipt and I ensured my exemptions were filed properly on my home.  Always a good practice to pay property taxes and file exemptions in person and get receipts!
